Project Instrument Engineer (Oil & Gas)

We are seeking an experienced Project Instrument Engineer with strong background in Oil & Gas operation (Gas Processing, NGL, and LNG projects) in Qatar. The role requires strong expertise in instrumentation engineering, control systems, and end-to-end project execution within gas processing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute FEED and Detailed Engineering for instrumentation systems
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Manage full instrumentation scope of projects, including vendor coordination
• Handle Management of Change (MOC) activities
• Support integration of multi-vendor control systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or similar fields
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas projects
• Strong exposure to both engineering design and field execution
• Ability to work independently as a Project Engineer

Hands-on experience with:

• PLC Systems (Rockwell Automation, Modicon)
• DCS Systems (ABB, Honeywell)
• Functional Safety Systems (HIMA, Yokogawa, ICS Triplex)
• Turbo-machinery Control Systems (GE, CCC)
• Familiarity with Shell / QatarEnergy standards and procedures
