Job Title: Project Management Consultant (PMC)

Job Summary

The Project Management Consultant (PMC) will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and controlling infrastructure projects from inception to completion. The role involves ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, cost, and quality standards while complying with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary coordinator between clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review project plans, schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to review construction activities and quality of work.
  • Identify project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Review and certify contractor bills, BOQs, variations, and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory approvals, safety norms, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with government authorities, utility agencies, and local bodies as required.
  • Prepare MIS reports, progress reports, and presentations for management and clients.
  • Ensure timely completion of milestones and handover of projects.
  • Manage claims, disputes, and contractual obligations effectively.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities, buildings, urban infrastructure, etc.).
  • Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera).
  • Sound understanding of contracts, tendering, billing, and cost control.
  • Familiarity with statutory approvals and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
  • Master’s Degree in Project Management / Construction Management (Preferred)

Experience Required

  • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure project management or PMC roles.
  • Experience working with government bodies, developers, or EPC contractors will be an added advantage.
