Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Management Director to lead our project management office (PMO) and oversee the successful execution of all projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies, team leadership, risk management, and stakeholder communication, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for establishing project management standards, guiding project managers, and ensuring the overall success of our project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain robust project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight.
• Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of all projects, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
• Develop and manage project portfolios, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and dependency management.
• Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement and manage project management tools and software to enhance efficiency and reporting.
• Monitor project performance against key metrics (scope, schedule, budget, quality) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project management team.
• Manage relationships with external clients, vendors, and partners involved in project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in project management, with a significant portion in a director-level or senior PMO role, managing multiple complex projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum.
• Strong leadership, team management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Familiarity with the specific industry or sector of Heracles Team is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree and PMP or equivalent certification are highly desirable.
