Are you a seasoned project management professional with a passion for driving organizational excellence and efficiency? At iENGINEERING, we are seeking an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Lead to join our team and take a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our project management processes. To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record of managing and improving project portfolios, implementing best practices, and driving successful project outcomes. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential as you'll be leading a team of project managers and collaborating with various departments. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining PMO standards and methodologies to ensure project success.
What you’ll be doing:

Coordinate with multiple project teams to keep track of all projects in the organization

Facilitate the project teams in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
-
Coordinate with project teams for project tasks and resource requirements and develop full-scale project plans and timelines
-
Evaluate existing systems, managerial approaches, and organizational structures and provide assistance with software development project planning, budget analysis, coordination of communication activities, and training programs

Coordinate with project staff for optimized resource utilization

Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the projects to all stakeholders
-
Prepare and present project progress reports to top management

Act as a single point of contact to CEO for managing all project portfolio in the organization

Propose recommendations to enhance methods, systems, procedures, and job functions

Develop, manage, control, and evaluate policies and procedures ensuring that service and quality management processes for software development and information system operations are in accordance with the policy and objectives for information technology service management

Define project tasks and resource requirements

Assemble and coordinate project staff and optimize resource utilization

Manage project deliveries within budget
-
Manage the overall software development project repository through a project management information system
-
Provide direction and support to project teams
-
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders through management meetings

Present reports defining project portfolio progress, problems, and solutions
-
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
-
Maintain the standards of project management and processes
-
Support the successful delivery of projects/programs through effective facilitation, tracking, and reporting
-
Manage, maintain, direct, and ensure the operating procedures of ISO standards in the operations of PMO and supporting departments
-
Ensure ISO compliance, and CMMI processes guidelines observance
What you’ll bring along:
-
Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferably in BCS/BS. Master’s degree will be preferred

5+ years of experience in IT with a combination of strong technical and business skills with 5 years of experience with PMO direct work experience in project management capacity

Knowledge of project management techniques and tools

Good understanding of the software development lifecycle

Excellent writing skills, and good command over MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
-
Proactive approach with the ability to take responsibility

Creative and open to new ideas

Must be a team player
-
ISO Lead Auditor training/certification is considered a plus
-
PMP certification is considered a plus
