Project Management Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive PMO Officer to support the successful execution of multiple projects by ensuring adherence to PMO guidelines, governance standards, and best practices . This role involves monitoring project progress, aligning sub-PMOs, tracking compliance, reporting statuses, and improving project management processes . The PMO Officer will act as a key liaison between EPMO, sub-PMOs, project managers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution and strategic alignment.


Key Responsibilities

Project Monitoring & Compliance

  • Oversee and track the progress of multiple projects , ensuring alignment with PMO policies.
  • Work closely with sub-PMOs and project managers to maintain consistency in execution.
  • Ensure projects adhere to governance frameworks, methodologies, and reporting structures .

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and portfolio summaries for senior management.
  • Consolidate project data to provide insights on performance, risks, and deviations .
  • Assist in the development of KPIs and project health metrics .

Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Act as a bridge between EPMO, sub-PMOs, project teams, and senior stakeholders .
  • Facilitate status review meetings, coordination sessions, and reporting discussions .
  • Ensure clear and timely communication of project updates, risks, and key decisions .

Process Improvement & Governance

  • Support the development and enhancement of PMO frameworks, templates, and best practices .
  • Identify areas for process optimization and contribute to standardization efforts .
  • Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives across the project lifecycle.


Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field .
  • 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, or portfolio management roles.
  • Experience working in a multi-project environment or corporate PMO is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar).
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for reporting and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with project governance frameworks (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) .

Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities .
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills .
  • Ability to work in a structured and fast-paced PMO environment .
