Project Management Specialist

Job Summary:

Responsible for implementing activities related to project management and strategic initiatives, ensuring that projects are progressing according to the approved timeline, budget, required quality standards, project management principles at newly established government organization in Abu Dhabi within educational sector, Additionally, proactively identifying risks that may affect the progress of projects and reporting them to the direct supervisor.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing detailed plans for projects and strategic initiatives.
• Collect data to identify required resources (personal, funding, systems, etc.).
• Support in evaluating external vendors or subcontractors.
• Help define project structure and key stakeholders.
• Gather and analyze data to support budget estimation.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and KPIs.
• Track progress of projects and strategic initiatives; report to supervisor.
• Contribute to risk analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate project updates and changes to stakeholders.
• Archive project documents securely.
• Assist in preparing project and risk management reports.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
• Develop monthly reports to the management.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Preferably holds international project management certifications such as PMP
• Professional experience ranging from 3 to 5 years in project management within the academic or educational sector, or a related field.
• Preferably has previous experience in project management within well-known academic or educational institutions
