Project Manager

Job functions:

• Collaborate with various organizations and key stakeholders, such as: Real Estate & Facilities, Information Technology, Global Physical Security Operations and Systems. As well as other trades such as architects, security installation companies and general contractors.
• Responsible for writing technical specifications & Security Scope of Work
• Manage the oversight and review of the design of security systems and their implementation. Be the one point of contact.
• Performs surveys, estimate cost of new projects, attend kick-off and weekly project meetings and proposes solutions to installation issues.
• Review vendor’s proposals for accuracy.
• Prepares project status reports on a biweekly basis.
• Manage the upkeep of the project database, ensuring all information entered is accurate and project supporting documents are uploaded.
• 2 Completes project close-out review of as-built drawings, testing documents and photos of installation.

Job requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of project management required.
• Hands-on experience of Lenel must.
• A proven ability to effectively communicate, both in person and writing, complex concepts, sensitive and critical issues, policies, and procedures to individuals with a varying range of expertise and backgrounds.
• Fluent in English. (writing and speaking).
• Fundamental understanding of all common physical security systems technologies, general systems architecture, and design requirements
• An ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong project management skills and experience effectively working with cross-functional teams of architects, consultants, engineers, and security integrators.
• A strong understanding of the architectural design and construction process, including the ability to read and understand drawings and technical documents.
• Ability to manage project’s full life cycle implementations for security technologies, including creation of budgetary estimates, vendor bid evaluation, schedule creation, project tracking.
• Travel is required for site commissioning and kick-off meetings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Project Management certification (PMP) is highly recommended.
• Certified Security Project Manager is highly recommended (SIA).
• Bachelor degree in business management or computer information systems is preferred.
