Project Manager

Vistatec’s Stategic Programs production team has an opening for a Project Manager. This role involves an Asian Timezone support coverage as well as the development and/or execution of the diverse initiatives on the account with reporting back to the Production Team Leads & Production Operations Manager. This role requires a professional with a good problem-solving mindset able to shape and execute the assigned initiatives independently, as a part of a larger team or by leading a dedicated team towards the final goal.

This role also requires direct client communications on specific aspects of the program.

Most projects are processed automatically from start to finish. Our goal is to increase automation where possible so we can focus on quality and strengthen relationships within our team, with our vendors and of course with our client. Our team works on managing exceptions, urgent requests and project clarification, as well as improving processes and tools for constant increased efficiency.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• A minimum of 5 years project management and/or language quality management experience working in Localisation
• Experience managing a team of onsite and/or offsite linguists
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem solver with excellent planning and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
• Excellent financial awareness, enthusiastic and hard working
• Self-sufficient and reliable, ability and willingness to learn new tools
• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate clearly in writing (English) and face-to-face online.
• Technical proficiency working with and troubleshooting different computer platforms, tools and ability to understand proprietary systems.

Ideally, the candidate will have/be:

• Experience with Google online tools such as Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc..
• Experience in the localization industry and knowledge of its standard processes
• Experience in working in the Agile environment
• Flexibility with working hours as required
• Ability to create, read and follow documented processes
• Working in a quality certified
