Job Description (JD)

Purpose:

To lead, coordinate, and execute construction projects exceeding 50,000 sq. ft., ensuring quality, cost, timeline, and safety benchmarks are met. Oversee planning, procurement, resource management, and execution phases for residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

Pay: 12.0-15.0 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Coordination

◦ Prepare detailed project execution plans, schedules using tools, and work breakdown structures (WBS).

◦ Conduct kickoff meetings with internal teams, architects, consultants, and contractors.

2. Site Management

◦ Daily site oversight to ensure adherence to drawings, safety protocols, and quality standards.

◦ Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, site engineers, and vendors for efficient execution.

3. Procurement Management

◦ Manage BOQ preparation, vendor selection, material procurement, and logistics. ◦ Negotiate contracts and manage timelines for deliveries.

4. Material Estimation & Budgeting

◦ Prepare detailed cost estimates based on architectural and structural drawings. ◦ Track consumption, reconcile materials, and manage deviations.

5. Execution & Monitoring

◦ Drive progress according to schedule with weekly milestone reviews.

◦ Implement quality checks and ensure compliance with structural and MEP specifications.

6. Reporting & Documentation

◦ Generate weekly/monthly progress reports, cost tracking, and variation statements.

◦ Maintain site logs, inspection records, and as-built documentation.

7. Stakeholder Communication

◦ Regular coordination with project owners, consultants, authorities, and financial controllers.

◦ Handle escalations and corrective actions.

KPI - Target Metric

Project Completion Timeline - Within ±5% of baseline schedule

Budget Adherence - Within ±5% of approved budget

Quality Compliance - <3 NCRs per quarter from audits

Safety Performance - Zero major accidents; <1 minor/month

Vendor Timeliness - 95% on-time delivery

Resource Efficiency - Max 10% material wastage variance

Client Satisfaction - >90% project owner satisfaction score

Documentation Accuracy - 100% compliance in site logs, reports, and handovers

Selection Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in site/project management for projects 50,000+ sq. ft.

Technical Skills:

  • Billing & Estimation
  • Strong knowledge of structural systems, RCC detailing, MEP coordination
  • Costing, BOQ, and rate analysis expertise
  • Strong safety and quality management understanding

Soft Skills:

  • Leadership & team coordination
  • Negotiation & conflict resolution
  • Communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Decision-making under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
