The Project Manager plans and implements multiple defense projects through all phases of execution within the specified budget and timelines. The job incumbent is also responsible to determine project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed of project progress and milestones.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and design detailed project plan, define the project scope and determine resources, estimated cost and timeline to achieve the goals and objectives of the project.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain the EDGE Enterprise SAP and Microsoft Project systems for your Project.
  • Define and establish a robust assessment process and metrics to measure the project outcomes and results.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Maintain a constant communication and visibility of project progress across the key stakeholders.
  • Use appropriate tools and techniques (project data, status reports, etc.) to measure and monitor the project progress against the performance metrics. Adjust or reallocate resources to accommodate required changes.
  • Identify and escalate project risks and issues and help drive communication for decision points and mitigation/resolution between cross functional teams.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Collect, organize, and communicate feedback to improve customer experience, streamline process flow, and reduce operating costs.
  • Evaluate and assess project results and provide recommendations for future improvement

Supporting Accountabilities

  • Develop and manage budgets, tracking expenses and identifying areas for cost reduction.
  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses to support financial decision-making.
  • Analyze Project operations to identify opportunities for savings. Implement cost-reduction strategies Build and maintain relationships with Customer, Suppliers, Peers, Entities and Service Providers.
  • Work with Contract and Procurement departments to negotiate contracts and rates to ensure the best value for the company.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and supply chain activities. Prepare reports on Project performance, budget adherence, and cost-saving initiatives.
