Key Responsibilities:
1. Production & Planning
- Lead and manage the full production process for event structures, exhibition stands, stages, and custom carpentry projects.
 - Interpret design drawings and translate them into accurate production and fabrication plans.
 - Develop production schedules and allocate manpower, materials, and resources effectively.
 - Ensure timely completion of all projects in line with client specifications and deadlines.
 
2. Workshop & Site Management
- Supervise daily operations in the carpentry, painting, and fabrication workshops.
 - Monitor and maintain all machinery, tools, and equipment in optimal working condition.
 - Oversee on-site installation, setup, and dismantling for events and exhibitions.
 - Ensure all work is executed according to safety and quality standards.
 
3. Team Leadership
- Manage, train, and motivate production teams, including carpenters, painters, fabricators, and site installers.
 - Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure proper coordination between design, operations, and logistics teams.
 - Conduct regular meetings to review project timelines, progress, and challenges.
 
4. Quality Control
- Conduct regular inspections during and after production to maintain high-quality standards.
 - Verify all fabrication works match approved drawings and client expectations.
 - Implement continuous improvement practices in the workshop to enhance productivity and craftsmanship.
 
5. Budgeting & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and material requirements.
 - Coordinate with procurement for material ordering and inventory management.
 - Control wastage and optimize the use of available resources.
 
6. Client & Project Coordination
- Liaise with project managers, designers, and clients to understand project requirements and ensure proper execution.
 - Provide technical support and input during project planning and execution phases.
 - Attend site visits and ensure smooth project handovers.
 
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Production Management, Joinery, Event Fabrication, or Engineering.
 - Minimum 5–10 years of experience in event production or carpentry workshop management.
 - Proven track record in managing large-scale events, exhibition stands, or custom carpentry fabrication.
 - Strong technical knowledge of woodwork, finishing materials, and fabrication processes.
 - Ability to read and interpret design drawings and technical plans.
 - Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.
 - Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
