Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven track record in managing project lifecycle from initiation to closure. This role requires expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe, as well as proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, and Trello. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Duties
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects, including defining scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop detailed project plans utilizing tools like MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet; manage schedules using techniques such as Kanban or Gantt charts.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams through effective team management, meeting facilitation, and conflict resolution to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to establish clear project scope and success criteria; facilitate requirements management using tools like SharePoint or Confluence.
- Apply risk management strategies including root cause analysis and Earned Value Management (EVM) to identify potential issues early and implement mitigation plans.
- Manage project budgets, cost control measures, and vendor relationships to optimize resource utilization.
- Utilize project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Lean Six Sigma, and Kaizen to improve processes and ensure quality management standards are met.
- Oversee program development and portfolio management activities; coordinate multiple projects within the broader organizational strategy.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and performance metrics for stakeholders; present findings with strong communication skills.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and organizational policies while managing project documentation through content management systems or ERP platforms.
Experience
- Proven experience in project management within a fast-paced environment; minimum of 5 years preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in change management, program development, program design, and project implementation.
- Strong background in agile, waterfall, SAFe, or other project management methodologies; certification such as PMP or PMI-ACP is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience with project scheduling, scope management, risk management, and cost control techniques.
- Proficiency with project management software including Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello, Confluence, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools.
- Skilled in data analysis techniques for project reporting; familiar with SAS or similar analytics platforms is a plus.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management, negotiation skills, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong organizational skills combined with technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, vendor management, product lifecycle management systems (PLM), ERP systems, and content management systems.
- Effective communicator capable of delivering technical presentations and facilitating collaboration across diverse teams. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in managing complex projects while fostering innovation through continuous process improvement initiatives.
