About the Role:

The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects — from preconstruction through closeout — with a focus on ground-up grocery stores (Sprout’s, Kroger, etc.), retail shopping centers with grocery anchors, and medical office buildings. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of ground-up construction projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and reporting
  • Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Lead site teams to maintain quality, safety, and performance standards
  • Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving

Qualifications:

  • 7–12+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial projects
  • Proven success delivering grocery (Sprout’s, Kroger, etc.), retail, and medical office building projects
  • Strong understanding of scheduling software and construction management tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Why Join:

  • This is an opportunity to work with a respected and growing contractor known for its integrity, teamwork, and commitment to quality construction. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that values leadership, accountability, and long-term relationships with clients and trade partners.
