Project Manager

One Works is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Dubai.

The candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and interior designers and will work side-by-side with other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of the whole aspects of the assigned project
• Providing a 'Kick off presentation' at the start of the project
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress;
• Maintains client relationship in support of Project Designer / Architect
• Implement the project strategy and the related guidelines for project management identified by the company;
• Agree contracts with sub-consultants
• Manage kick off meeting with team and subconsultants
• Monitor that project margins are guaranteed and promptly intervenes if margins are decreasing;
• Give instructions for the invoicing process and intervenes for credit recovery;
• Prepare contracts for project variations and extensions;
• Keep and enforce highly collaborative, solid and effective relationships with all Company functions and offices, sharing experiences and best practices;
• Coordinate meetings and regularly update the open points list, participate design review meetings;
• Weekly internal meeting with Project Leader / Project Manager
• An ability to put fee proposals together for bids, tenders and competitions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as Project Manager.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering requi
• red.Architectural/Engineering license required.
• International experience is considered a p
• lus.Good knowledge of CAD and Revit.
• Firm knowledge of document control procedures and project delivery expectations in CAD and Revit.
• A passion for design, a commitment to excellence and a focus on continuous improvement on both a personal and managerial level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel is required.
• Knowledge in management of project business: scope, fee, schedule, work plans, and budgets
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and delegate multitudes of tasks, assignments, and changing priorities efficiently.
• Ability to inspire collaboration between client and projects teams as the single point of contact.
• A willingness to take full accountability for your role, actions, judgements and decisions.
• The ability to build trust, confidence, and new relationships with others – you'll also understand how to generate new business.
• Proficient in English.
