job Purpose


To plan, execute, monitor, and close hospital-related projects bying project management best practices, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with hospital priorities and regulatory requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities


Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures Follow-up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner

Functional Accountabilities:


Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.

Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure seamless project execution and techniques.

Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, Prepare and present regular status reports to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and corrective actions Ensure projects comply with relevant healthcare standards, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines. Lead cross-functional project teams and support department heads in implementing change initiatives. Conduct project evaluations and lessons learned to inform continuous improvement


Requirements

Job Qualifications and Requirements

5-8 years of experience in project management, preferably in a healthcare or large organizational setting. Proven ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects from initiation to closure. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Familiarity with healthcare systems, operational workflows, and compliance standards. Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)


Education and Certification

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field - required Master's degree - preferred Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)- preferred
