Job Title: Project Manager - Commercial Mechanical

Location: Houston, Texas

Salary: Up to $150,000 depending on experience + benefits

About the Role

A well-established Houston-based commercial mechanical contractor is seeking a Project Manager due to continued growth across the region.

The business delivers large-scale HVAC and plumbing projects across healthcare, institutional, and complex commercial environments. This role will focus on managing full mechanical scopes from preconstruction through final closeout.

They are also open to strong Assistant Project Managers who are ready to step up into a Project Manager role and take ownership of larger, more complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from preconstruction through completion
• Oversee full mechanical scopes including procurement, scheduling, cost control, and delivery
• Coordinate closely with estimating, field leadership, vendors, and general contractors
• Manage budgets, forecasts, change orders, RFIs, and reporting
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and GC partners
• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule expectations are consistently achieved

What They’re Looking For

• Experience working for a commercial mechanical contractor
• Strong HVAC and/or plumbing project delivery background
• Experience on large commercial builds, ideally healthcare or technically complex facilities
• Understanding of mechanical labor productivity, equipment procurement, and subcontractor coordination
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Ambitious Assistant Project Managers ready to step up will be considered
