Job Summary:

) We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Office of Information Technology (OIT) PALM Team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing multiple technology projects in a hybrid Agile and traditional project management environment.
) The Project Manager must be able to work independently and demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills while following State, Department, and OIT processes and procedures.
) The ideal candidate must be a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience using Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps. The role requires the ability to manage complex IT projects, coordinate with stakeholders, maintain project documentation, and ensure successful project delivery.
) This position may also require the candidate to perform Business Analysis activities, including requirements gathering, documentation, and process analysis.

Job Duties:

) Manage IT projects in a hybrid Agile / traditional project management environment.
) Review and communicate project goals, technical objectives, and timelines to stakeholders and project teams.
) Manage and maintain the product backlog and sprint planning activities.
) Participate in release planning and Agile ceremonies.
) Create, maintain, and update project management documentation and deliverables.
) Facilitate project meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
) Track and document project status, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions.
) Maintain and manage project documentation repositories.
) Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), developers, and business teams.
) Ensure compliance with State of Florida project management standards and documentation requirements.
) Support business analysis activities, including requirements gathering and functional documentation when needed.
) Use Azure DevOps or other Agile tools to track project tasks, sprints, and progress.
) Perform other duties as assigned to support project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

) Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
) Current Agile certification such as CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar.
) Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
) Experience managing Agile artifacts such as product roadmaps, sprint backlogs, and project timelines.
) Experience using Azure DevOps or other Agile project management tools.
) Strong understanding of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) principles.
) Experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
) Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

) Experience working with government or public sector organizations.
) Knowledge of FDOT business processes and financial systems.
) Experience using SharePoint 365.
) Experience performing Business Analyst or Systems Analysis responsibilities.
) Experience presenting information to large stakeholder groups or leadership teams.
