Project Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced construction professional to support our General Contractor (GC) in maintaining active residential job sites while also assisting the Office Manager with scheduling, coordination, and project tracking.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on residential construction experience who can step into field tasks when needed while also managing administrative and coordination responsibilities. The right candidate is organized, proactive, flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working both in the field and in the office.

Responsibilities

Field & Site Support

  • Assist the General Contractor in managing daily site operations
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Coordinate subcontractors and verify work progress
  • Perform light to moderate construction tasks as needed (framing, punch work, finish work, repairs, etc.)
  • Conduct material pickups and deliveries
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and accounted for
  • Assist with inspections and quality control checks
  • Holding Subcontractor accountable to clean up (Signs will be posted on each job site)

Scheduling & Administrative Support

  • Support the Office Manager with scheduling subcontractors and deliveries
  • Help maintain project timelines and update schedules
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Track change orders, materials, and work progress
  • Assist with permit tracking and inspection scheduling
  • Picking up permits
  • Help maintain project budgets, and checks job cost and manage change orders
  • Maintain project documentation and job files
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Coordinate subcontractors and verify work progress

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on residential construction experience
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
  • Ability to perform basic carpentry and construction-related tasks
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable using scheduling software and basic office programs
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in active construction environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a General Contractor
  • Familiarity with residential remodeling and/or new construction
  • Experience with project management software
  • OSHA certification (a plus)

Why This Role Matters

This position plays a critical role in keeping projects on schedule, job sites organized, and communication flowing between the field and office. You will directly support leadership while helping ensure high-quality residential construction projects are delivered successfully.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
