Position Title: Project Manager
School: NYU's School of Global Public Health | Social and Behavioral Sciences
Supervisor: Dr. Adolfo Cuevas (Principal Investigator)
Number of Positions Available: 1
Employment Dates: 7 Month Appointment

The project manager will oversee day-to-day operations of a research program examining stress, discrimination, and biological health across three NIH R01–funded projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure the successful completion of research objectives.

  • Supervise and support research staff, including coordinating assignments, providing mentorship, and evaluating performance.

  • Prepare and submit regulatory documents, including IRB applications, progress reports, and compliance materials.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with internal team members, external collaborators, and stakeholders.

  • Support dissemination efforts, including drafting and reviewing manuscripts, preparing presentations, and contributing to community reports.

  • Assist in the development of study materials, data collection procedures, and project protocols as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, public health, social sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience managing research projects, including NIH-funded studies, preferred.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary range for this position is $47,600-$54,600.
