Project Manager

Holitna is hiring an Initial Outfitting Project Manager to join their team. The Initial Outfitting Project Manager works alongside the construction/general contractor, architectural and engineering firm, and the medical treatment facility. Initial Outfitting (IO) services include equipment planning, equipment purchasing, warehousing, delivery, and installation; and a variety of transition services that prepare the clinic for occupancy and activation of healthcare services. Outfitting includes medical equipment, furniture and furnishings, low voltage systems, and other miscellaneous commodities. The IO Project Manager supervises assigned project staff and directs all IO activities to meet client objectives. This includes meetings with customers to address all their project requirements. This position will coordinate with multiple vendors and oversee all subcontractor activities. The Project Manager must be an extremely detailed oriented person to monitor and track all requirements relating to design, procurement, delivery, and installation. This position reports to the General Manager and will provide status reports and budget/schedule reviews as requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

This is a remote (virtual) position that requires both domestic and international travel. Candidates must be able to successfully pass military background checks to gain access to military bases. A valid passport is required at time of hire and must be maintained throughout employment to support travel needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides professional customer interface and client relations
• Ensures schedule and scope requirements are met/maintained
• Leads client planning meetings
• Obtains customer approvals and is responsible for all customer sign-offs
• Manages purchase order distribution and account for all monthly invoice requirements
• Assist in sourcing products for quotation
• Manage financial and staffing resources
• Develops a work plan, schedule and logistics required based on the overall project parameters and scope
• Communicate schedule with customers/end users
• Assist Designer with field dimensions and general site conditions
• Assures quality of project services and deliverables
• Provides status reports, executive briefings, and meeting minutes

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to read blueprints, interpret floor plans

• Detail-oriented individual required to be onsite at project location

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Four-year college degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, business, or related field from an accredited college/university
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory position
• 5 years’ experience managing medical initial outfitting/construction projects
• 2 years’ experience on Federal, DoD and/or Army medical initial outfitting/construction projects
