Job Summary
The Project Manager leads enterprise level initiatives to deliver high quality solutions on time, within scope, and on budget. This role serves as the central point of coordination across business areas, partnering with senior leaders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and successful delivery. The PM often manages multiple projects simultaneously, guides teams through SDLC processes, and proactively resolves obstacles. The position also contributes to building project management capability by providing coaching, mentoring, and reinforcing best practices across the organization.
This position will be hired at either the Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager level, based on education, skills and experience.

What you’ll do
- Operating within established guidelines, leads the management of enterprise-level projects, including those in support of Programs being managed by the PMO. Includes comprehensive project plans, schedule, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. Ensure successful transitions, documentation, and lessons learned for future project management process improvement.

Motivating, managing, and fostering collaboration of cross-functional project teams.

Managing project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
- Identifying potential project risks, developing mitigation strategies, and addressing issues to keep projects on track.

Manage contracted deliverables to ensure compliance, timely execution, and alignment with project goals.

Establishing and maintaining clear communication with clients, team members, and project sponsors; providing regular project status updates and managing expectations.

Adapting to changing project requirements and scope, implementing changes effectively while minimizing disruptions.

Mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Identify opportunities to enhance project processes and tools that support successful project delivery.
What you need
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, information systems, business administration, engineering or related field preferred.
Project Manager

Three (3) years' IT project management experience is required. In lieu of a degree, an additional three (3) years' experience is required, at a minimum.

Project management certification required within one year of hire. (PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent). Scrum Master certification preferred.
- Experience with system design, programming, testing and analysis techniques preferred.
Sr. Project Manager

Five (5) years' IT project management experience is required. In lieu of a degree, an additional three (3) years' experience is required, at a minimum.

Project management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent) required. Program Management, Scrum Master or Quality certification (E.g., CQI, TQM, Six Sigma) preferred.
- Experience with system design, programming, testing and analysis techniques required.

- Organization, time management, and negotiation abilities to properly support projects.

Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to facilitate discussions and manage minor conflict, knowing when to escalate.

Knowledge of the roles, functions, and purposes represented by all members of the project team required.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively to effectively solve problems and drive continuous improvement, while maintaining focus on delivering project objectives.

Understanding of statistical and analytical reporting and research skills. Ability to assess information, with an understanding of key metrics to use data to provide clear status information.

Specific to the project, knowledge of the organization’s business processes, functions, objectives and operations and how these are affected by the solutions required.

Knowledge of a variety of systems and software packages and the scope and capabilities of each. Understanding of the software development methodologies (i.e. waterfall, agile), release/version control, testing methodologies, deployment management, quality assurance and control, resource planning, project planning, automated project planning tools, and AI.
