Job Description: Project Manager (Construction Industry)
Position Title: Project Manager
Location: Qatar
Reports To: General manager
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Team Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Budget Management: Monitor costs, approve expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, and vendors.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee inspections and ensure projects meet specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD).
- PMP or CCM certification preferred.
