Job Description: Project Manager (Construction Industry)

Position Title: Project Manager
Location: Qatar
Reports To: General manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Team Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Budget Management: Monitor costs, approve expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, and vendors.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee inspections and ensure projects meet specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction codes and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD).
  • PMP or CCM certification preferred.
