Northeastern Air Quality is seeking a dedicated and organised Project Manager to join our team. As a leading provider of services focused on improving air quality, we serve a diverse range of residential and commercial clients. This role is crucial for managing our environmental consulting projects, ensuring that our solutions for healthier air standards are delivered efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with clients and internal teams to meet all objectives. This is a full-time position based in Illinois City, Illinois, United States.

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing regular project updates.
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
- Perform risk management to minimise potential project risks.
- Create and maintain thorough project documentation, including reports and post-project evaluations.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant environmental regulations and company quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within environmental consulting, engineering, or a related industry.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and software.
- A degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
- A PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification would be a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with air quality testing, assessment procedures, and environmental standards is highly beneficial.
