The Project Manager at Systems Limited will lead and deliver complex banking and financial technology initiatives across the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and budgets. This role requires at least 8 years of project management experience, including 5+ years in the Banking/Financial Services sector, strong cross-functional coordination, and expertise in both Agile and traditional delivery methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end banking technology projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business analysts, compliance, and stakeholders to define and deliver project outcomes.
- Apply suitable project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) based on project requirements.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
- Ensure timely documentation, progress tracking, and transparent communication with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors, system integrators, and third parties for effective integration and delivery of external components.
- Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement within project teams.
- Use tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or Azure DevOps for planning, execution, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Banking/Finance, or related field.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum, or other project management certifications are a plus.
- 8+ years of experience managing IT projects, with 5+ years in Banking or Financial Services.
- Proven success in Agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery models within banking or financial technology projects.
- Proficient in project management tools: JIRA, MS Project, Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, banking applications (core banking, payments, digital banking), and IT delivery frameworks.
- Experience coordinating across development, QA, business, compliance, and risk teams.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced banking environments.
- Familiarity with banking regulations, security standards, and governance frameworks.
