Job Overview:

As a Civil Project Manager, you will oversee and manage civil engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables. Define project requirements and specifications in collaboration with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, including civil engineers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, and support staff. Delegate tasks, assign responsibilities, and provide guidance to ensure effective collaboration and teamwork.
  • Budget Management: Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts. Monitor project expenses, track costs against budget allocations, and implement cost-control measures to minimize variances and ensure profitability.
  • Schedule Management: Develop project schedules, Gantt charts, and critical path analyses to plan and coordinate project activities. Monitor progress, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and implement strategies to keep the project on track and meet deadlines.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks, assess their potential impact, and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize their likelihood and severity. Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards and specifications for project deliverables. Implement quality control measures, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare contracts, procurement documents, and bid packages. Negotiate terms and conditions with contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Monitor contract performance, resolve disputes, and ensure contract compliance throughout the project.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, government agencies, regulatory authorities, and other project stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress, address concerns or issues, and maintain positive relationships to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
  • Change Management: Manage project changes, variations, and scope creep. Evaluate change requests, assess their impact on project objectives, and make informed decisions regarding their approval or rejection. Communicate changes to stakeholders and adjust project plans accordingly.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, correspondence, progress reports, and documentation of key decisions and actions. Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders and senior management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
