We are looking for experienced commercial construction Project Managers to manage public and private general construction projects, ranging in budget from $5M to $40M. Our Project Managers oversee the planning, daily management, and execution of ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects through effective cost management, scheduling, and contract administration functions. In this role, you'll lead a team of dedicated construction professionals with the goal of fully satisfying our clients by ensuring their projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Expertly manage relationships with customers, project owner, design teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Provide leadership for team members and external stakeholders by setting standards, coaching and training team members, and delegating tasks efficiently
  • Understand contractual obligations and maintain terms and conditions included in all agreements
  • Effectively organize, plan, and manage the execution of onsite construction activities, including creating and managing scopes of work for subcontractors, creating and maintaining project schedules and milestone dates, and managing the project closeout process
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve problems and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Successfully manage change events in a productive and cost-effective manner, negotiate and disseminate changes with subcontractors, and react receptively by adapting plans in a timely manner; Communicate plans and changes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Accurately visualize the constructability and logistics of the project and proactively identify and resolve complex problems and make decisions aligned with the overall goal of the project

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications Include:

  • 5+ years commercial construction experience as a Project Manager required, including experience in construction phasing, job costing, and change order management; 7+ years commercial construction experience as a Project Manager preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is highly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of MS Project and Timberline/Sage PM
  • Strong leadership skills and prior experience training, supervising, and mentoring a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, in person and via email
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to anticipate problems before they develop and determine appropriate solutions
  • Ability to understand the strategic vision of the customer and visualize and forecast the constructability and logistics of a project
  • Time-management, prioritization, and organization skills to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to work successfully in a collaborative team environment
  • Confident and resilient, acquired by learning from your achievements AND your mistakes
  • Resourceful, energetic, and has a strong sense of urgency to solve problems and get things done
  • A strong customer focus and a passion for helping both internal and external customers
  • High integrity and trustworthiness
