Project Manager (Construction)

Position: Construction Project Manager

Our confidential client - a well-established general contractor in Boston, MA - is currently seeking a full-time Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be somebody who is interested in staying and growing with the company long-term, and becoming an integral part of the team.

Responsibilities:

Business Development/Planning & Preconstruction

Working closely with the planning department to assist in evaluation of potential and new business development opportunities

Project Management

Work closely with the Senior Project Manager, overseeing projects from design initiation through construction completion and project closeout

Field Supervision

Working in both the office and the field, providing support to the superintendent team

Position Requirements:

1) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture (Professional License a plus)

2) Estimating experience and desire to learn more

3) MA Contractor’s License

4) 5-10 years relevant experience in construction environment

5) Well-rounded understanding of building, structural and MEP systems

6) Strong familiarity with building codes and requirements

7) Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Microsoft Project, Revit

8) OSHA Training (20 or 30 HR a plus)

9) Proficient comprehension of technical details, drawings, specifications, contracts and construction schedules

Soft Skills Requirements:

1) Ability to work harmoniously and efficiently within a diverse team

2) Ability to communicate effectively with the Owner (conveying confidence, leadership & problem-solving ability)

3) Experience in working and interacting with subcontractors and other partners

3) Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

4) Entrepreneurial, can-do attitude

5) Willingness to work in the field, from the office or home as needed.

President, Director of Planning

Timeline:

1-2 months

Work Mode:

Full-time, hybrid: in Boston, MA office, on-site and from home. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Compensation:

Commensurate with skills and experience

Pay: Up to $140,000.00 per year
