Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Project & Delivery Manager with a specialized focus on the successful implementation and deployment of Oracle Primavera and Oracle Primavera Unifier solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading project through all phases of the implementation lifecycle - from initial discovery and requirements gathering, through solution design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live. This role demands a blend of strong project management acumen, deep technical understanding of Primavera products, and exceptional client relationship management skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality, value-driven solutions that meet client business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation Project Leadership: Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of Oracle Primavera and Oracle Primavera Unifier implementation projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for implementation projects. Proactively manage client expectations and address any concerns.
  • Requirements Gathering & Solution Design: Conduct detailed workshops and interviews to gather client business requirements. Translate these requirements into effective and efficient solution designs leveraging Primavera P6 and Unifier functionalities, including module configuration, business process workflows, forms, and reports.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage diverse project teams, including functional consultants, technical consultants, and developers. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure team members are aligned with project goals.
  • Configuration & Customization Oversight: Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of Primavera P6 and Unifier solutions, ensuring they align with approved designs and client specifications.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies (unit, system, integration, UAT) to ensure the implemented solution is robust, stable, and meets all functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Training & User Adoption: Develop and deliver effective training programs for client end-users and administrators to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the implemented Primavera systems.
  • Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Implement robust change management processes for scope variations, ensuring clear communication and impact assessment.
  • Project Controls & Reporting: Implement rigorous project controls, track project progress, manage budgets, and provide regular, transparent status reports and presentations to internal stakeholders.
  • Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support: Manage smooth go-live transitions and oversee initial post-implementation support, ensuring client satisfaction and system stability.
  • Best Practices & Continuous Improvement: Promote and enforce industry best practices for project management and Primavera implementation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal methodologies and service offerings.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT/software project management, with a strong focus on enterprise application implementations.
  • Minimum 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience leading and delivering Oracle Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Unifier implementation projects. (Experience with both is highly preferred).
  • Deep functional and technical understanding of Oracle Primavera P6 capabilities (scheduling, resource management, reporting).
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Primavera Unifier, including in-depth knowledge of configuring various modules such as Cost Controls, Document Manager, Project Controls, Business Process Management (BPM) workflows, Forms, and Reports (BI Publisher).
  • Proven ability to manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) or implementation lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, cost management, and earned value management principles.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional project teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certifications (e.g., Prince2, SAFe).
  • Oracle Primavera Unifier certification(s) for implementation specialists.
  • Experience with integrations between Primavera products and other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP application, financial systems).
  • Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
