Project Manager (Contract Position)

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager for a contract position to lead and oversee complex projects across various departments. The Contractor shall provide a Project Manager whose responsibilities include managing the contractor’s project deliverables and serving as the primary point of contact for the task completion.

Mandatory Qualifications
The proposed Project Manager must meet the following mandatory qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven (7) FTE years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible project management (PM) experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools.
  • A minimum of four (4) FTE years of experience as a PM successfully managing one or more large or complex information technology (IT) projects, with contract value exceeding $2.5 million.
  • A minimum of four (4) FTE years of experience providing diverse technical and management services to government agencies with.
  • A minimum of four (4) FTE years of experience team building, knowledge transfer, and/or mentoring experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience leading cloud or platform modernization projects on multiple contractor teams.
  • A minimum of four (4) FTE years of experience in transition support including providing leadership in the transition of work from the Contractor to State staff and assisting with the transition of existing PM infrastructure and the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) infrastructure.
  • A minimum of four (4) FTE years of experience in scheduling management utilizing Microsoft (MS) Project or similar project scheduling tools.
  • A “Bachelor’s” degree in a Business Administration, Information Technology (IT) or Engineering field.

¨ Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

¨ Possession of a “Master’s” degree in a Business Administration, IT or Engineering field may be substituted for the required education.

  • Current and valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification issued by Scrum Alliance or Scaled Agile Framework certification (SAFe) by SAFe Enterprise.

Desirable Qualifications

The proposed Project Manager may also meet the following desirable qualifications:

  • Nine (9) FTE years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible project management (PM) experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools.
  • Six (6) FTE years of experience as a PM successfully managing one or more large or complex information technology (IT) projects, with contract value of at least $3 million.
  • Six (6) FTE years of experience providing diverse technical and management services to government agencies with.
  • Six (6) FTE years of experience team building, knowledge transfer, and/or mentoring experience.
  • Six (6) FTE years of experience in managing .NET, cloud migration, microservices, or integration programs.
  • Six (6) FTE years of experience in transition support including providing leadership in the transition of work from the Contractor to State staff and assisting with the transition of existing PM infrastructure and the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) infrastructure.
  • Six (6) FTE years of experience in scheduling management utilizing Microsoft (MS) Project or similar project scheduling tools.
  • Possession of a “Master’s” degree in a Business Administration, IT or Engineering field.
  • Experience coordinating multi-Contractor teams and cross-agency stakeholders.

Pay: $65.00 per hour
