Position Overview

A known Chemical Manufacturing Company based in Karachi is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager (Contractual) to lead a 10-month engineering and plant-related project. The ideal individual will have strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, hands-on project execution experience, and a proven background managing capital projects in industrial or chemical environments.

This role requires a professional who can ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery of project milestones in a high-compliance chemical manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, design coordination, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Oversee mechanical, piping, equipment installation, utilities, and plant modification activities relevant to chemical manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, maintenance, and HSE teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project schedules, timelines, risks, and expenditures, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and technical service providers to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to chemical industry safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare project reports, documentation, progress dashboards, and updates for senior management.
• Conduct site inspections and technical reviews to ensure quality, safety, and timely execution of tasks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.E. Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 15 years of proven project management experience within the industrial and Engineering sector.
