Job Summary

The Project Manager – Electrical Engineer is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing electrical projects from initiation to completion. The role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. The Project Manager coordinates with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and supervise electrical installation and construction projects.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely project completion.
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for project activities.
  • Monitor site progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
  • Manage procurement of materials and ensure proper utilization of project resources.
  • Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and technical teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional certifications or project management training are an advantage.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical or MEP projects, preferably in the GCC construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale electrical installation projects.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, MEP coordination, and construction standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
  • Knowledge of UAE authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, etc.) is an advantage.
