Project Manager – Electrical

We are seeking for a Project Manager Electrical to lead and manage electrical infrastructure projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely completion within budget, quality, and safety standards. The role is responsible for overseeing electrical works related to power distribution networks, substations, street lighting, utility systems, and residential/commercial developments.

• Experience: 6-7 Years
• PMP preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution
• Manage the end-to-end execution of new electricity connection of our project.
• Ensure timely installation of distribution infrastructure, transformers, cables, as per DISCO approved drawing
• Monitor project schedules and ensure adherence to approved timelines.
• Coordination and Liaison
• Coordinate with planning, design, and service departments.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, government authorities, and customers.
• Facilitate site inspections and resolve execution-related issues.
• Technical Oversight
• Review approved load requirements and technical specifications.
• Ensure installations comply with utility standards, safety regulations, and engineering requirements.
• Supervise testing and commissioning activities before energization.
• Contractor Management
• Monitor contractor performance.
• Verify work quality and certify completed work.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and safety standards.
• Resource and Material Management
• Plan and arrange required materials and equipment.
• Monitor inventory availability for connection works.
• Optimize resource utilization to avoid delays.
• Compliance and Safety
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements at work sites.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and utility policies.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain records of project progress, approvals, and completion certificates.
• Prepare management reports on pending and completed connections.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Budget and Cost Control
• Monitor project expenditures against approved estimates.
• Verify contractor bills and work completion reports.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
• Performance Management
• Lead and supervise field teams involved in connection execution.
• Set targets and monitor performance.
• Implement process improvements to reduce connection turnaround times.
