Position Title: Project Manager – Events / Production / Exhibitions
Department: Events / Production / Exhibitions
Location: Dubai
Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in events, exhibitions or production to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the full lifecycle of live events, exhibitions, experiential activations or brand-installations—from concept, planning, budgeting and execution through to wrap-up and post-event analysis. Fluency in Arabic and English is required, as the role will liaise with Arabic-speaking teams, clients and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the full project lifecycle: concept design, planning, procurement, build, installation, event operation, dismantle.
· Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, budgets, risk logs and status reports.
· Coordinate and align internal teams (design, production, AV/lighting/rigging, logistics, on-site operations) and external vendors, contractors, venue operators.
· Manage procurement of materials, subcontractors, labour, equipment ensuring cost control, quality standards and timely delivery.
· Conduct site visits, oversee installation and ensure compliance with health & safety, venue and regulatory requirements.
· Serve as main point of contact for clients: set expectations, provide regular updates, manage change requests, ensure client satisfaction.
· Monitor project performance, prepare post-event reports, capture learnings and drive continuous improvement.
· Ensure on-time handover and post-event wrap-up (dismantle, invoicing, documentation) and support financial reconciliation.
· Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritise tasks, adapt to fast-paced and changing environments.
Required Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Production, Marketing or related field.
· Minimum 3-7 years of project management experience in the events/exhibitions/production industry (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
· Demonstrated track record of delivering events / exhibitions on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
· Strong knowledge of event logistics, exhibition stand builds, fit-out, AV/lighting/rigging and production workflows.
· Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
· Proficient in project management tools (MS Office, scheduling tools, budgeting spreadsheets) and ideally event-specific software.
· Strong leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
· Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle on-site challenges.
· Willingness to travel onsite and work non-standard hours as required (installations, live events, dismantle phases).
“Nice-to-have”
· Experience in the Middle East / GCC region, familiarity with local vendors, venues and regulations.
· Experience with hybrid events or digital/virtual event components.
· Experience negotiating supplier contracts and managing vendor relationships.
· Certification in project management (e.g. PMP, Prince2) or event management.
· Valid UAE driving licence (if travel between sites/venues is required)
