Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Interior Fit-Out to join a well-established fit-out organization in Al Ain. The role involves managing interior fit-out projects from design coordination through authority approvals, procurement, execution, and handover. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, solid technical knowledge of interior works, and proven experience delivering fit-out projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage interior fit-out projects from initiation to handover, ensuring delivery within approved scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including interior designers, MEP engineers, site engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, method statements, work programs, and resource allocations.
- Monitor site progress, identify risks, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Act as the main point of contact with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
- Review design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance, buildability, and quality.
- Oversee procurement activities, subcontractor coordination, and material approvals to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor variations, cost control, and progress billing in coordination with commercial and finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, fire & life safety regulations, and fit-out standards.
- Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to management and clients.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are strictly followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate final inspections, snagging, and project handover documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of project management experience in the interior fit-out industry within the UAE.
- Proven experience handling commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, office, and villa fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE fit-out regulations, authority approval processes, and fire & life safety requirements.
- Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple fit-out projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
