Project Manager - Fit Out

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end design, planning execution, and maintenance of new retail and hospitality projects. This role is responsible for managing timelines, budgets, vendors, and team coordination to ensure the successful opening of restaurants and retail stores in line with the brand's standards and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for each phase of the restaurant launch.
  • Monitor project progress, adjust timelines, and communicate changes to stakeholders.

Budget Management

  • Establish, monitor, and control the project budget, including construction, design, equipment, and staffing costs.
  • Identify potential cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.

Location and Design Coordination

  • Collaborate with real estate agents, designers, and architects to select the location and finalize restaurant design.
  • Ensure that the layout and ambiance align with the restaurant's brand and operational needs.

Vendor and Supplier Management

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for furniture, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery and installation, coordinating with vendors for setup as required.

Regulatory Compliance and Permits

  • Secure necessary permits and licenses for restaurant operations, including health and safety certifications.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to local regulations and industry standards.

Marketing and Launch Collaboration

  • Partner with the marketing team to develop pre-opening promotions, brand messaging, and event coordination for the restaurant launch.
  • Create excitement through local partnerships and community engagement.

Quality Control and Pre-Opening Testing

  • Conduct quality assessments throughout project phases to ensure high standards.
  • Organize pre-opening mock services to test workflows, customer service, and kitchen operations.

Post-Launch Evaluation and Support

  • Monitor initial performance metrics and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the transition to steady-state operations, making adjustments to enhance efficiency and guest experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field.

· 8+ years of project management experience, preferably within the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries.

· Proven track record in managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.

· Knowledge of restaurant regulations, including health, safety, and licensing requirements.

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
