Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Fit Out to oversee and deliver high-end interior fit-out projects across commercial, hospitality, and residential sectors in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations and quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution

• Lead fit-out projects from design coordination through completion and handover.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and approved drawings.

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage project budgets.
• Monitor costs and control expenditures to maintain profitability.
• Review and approve subcontractor payments and variations.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and provide status reports.
• Manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Standards and local authority regulations.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with relevant authorities.
• Implement quality control procedures and conduct site inspections.

Team Leadership

• Lead site engineers, supervisors, and project coordinators.
• Provide direction and resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Foster a culture of safety and accountability.

Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.
• Promote safe working practices on-site.

RequirementsEducation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Experience

• 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in interior fit-out projects.
• Prior experience managing projects in Qatar or GCC preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, MEP coordination, and shop drawings.
• Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, MS Project).
• Knowledge of local authority approval processes in Qatar.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification.
• UPDA/MMUP Grade A/B registration (preferred).
• Experience in luxury retail or hospitality fit-out projects.
