About the Opportunity:
The Project Manager - Fixed Assets Management will be responsible for overseeing the execution of physical asset tagging projects across company sites. The role ensures that all fixed assets are properly identified, tagged, recorded, and reconciled in line with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements. The position will supervise field teams, manage project timelines, and coordinate with finance, operations, and audit departments to maintain accurate fixed asset registers.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Supervision

Lead and supervise physical tagging projects across multiple sites to ensure timely and accurate completion.

Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and progress tracking.

Assign daily tasks to tagging teams and monitor performance against project KPIs.

Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards during field activities.
Asset Tagging & Verification

Oversee the identification, tagging, and recording of all fixed assets (furniture, equipment, IT, machinery, vehicles, etc.).

Ensure proper use of asset tags, barcodes, or RFID systems for traceability.

Verify asset details (location, category, condition, serial numbers, and ownership).

Coordinate with finance to reconcile tagged assets with the existing fixed asset register.
Data Management & Reporting

Ensure accurate and complete documentation of tagged assets in the system.

Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and accounting records.

Prepare and submit progress reports, variance reports, and final project summaries to management.

Maintain a secure database of asset records for future audits and reference.
Stakeholder Coordination

Work closely with Finance, Procurement, IT, and Operations to ensure smooth project execution.

Liaise with external auditors or consultants during asset verification exercises.

Support management in developing asset control policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
People Management

Train, guide, and motivate tagging teams on procedures, system usage, and quality standards.

Monitor staff productivity and address performance or conduct issues promptly

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during field work.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree
-
3-5 years experience in project management
-
Excellent level of English

Proficiency in MS Excel, and asset management software

Strong project management, leadership, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
