We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager (m/f/d) for our Branch in Egypt.

Responsibilities:

Implementing and delivering the assigned projects with regard to service, quality, deadlines, costs and the performance of the company as well as document management and reporting, in close coordination with the Regional Director.
Identify qualified internal experts in collaboration with International Resource Management (Staffing Lead).
Anticipate resource shortages and implement proactive mitigation measures to ensure project continuity.
Responsible for the successful implementation of the resources as well as long-term workforce planning for projects in NME together with the central operative resource management.
Conceptually designing specific project structures, responsibilities and staffing.
Carrying out technical bid management.
Carrying out technical controlling for project ramp-ups.
Delivery of technical input for contracts and addenda with customers, partners, subcontractors, and business units of DB AG, in close coordination within Regional Director.
Development and refinement of market-related and discipline-specific costing principles.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.
8 years of professional experience and 3 years of experience as project manager for railway infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate internal experts and freelance professionals across multiple geographies and business units.
Strong proficiency in resource planning tools and digital platforms; experience managing databases and ensuring data integrity is essential.
Proven leadership capabilities, including functional leadership of international teams and advisory involvement in recruitment and onboarding.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multicultural teams and stakeholder groups.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is beneficial and German language skills are highly desirable.
