PROJECT MANAGER - Full Time

SUMMARY:
The Project Manager oversees project management within the IS department for multiple facilities. This individual will be responsible for the direction and timely communication to Leadership and staff on project timelines, deadlines, ensuring a success project implementation outcome. The Project Manager also oversees quality control of assigned projects throughout the project life cycle and is responsible for coordination and completion of assigned projects on-time, within budget and scope.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Requires minimum 8 years project management experience, preferably in healthcare information systems.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
Certified in Project Management, preferably Project Management Institute PMP or CAPM. Certification in Epic applications recommended.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Works directly with leadership teams to build out the project strategy and plan for target markets
2. Manages all aspects of the IS department projects assigned management
3. Serves as project manager for assigned projects; runs meetings, manages documentation agendas/minutes, tracks tasks, issues, action items, escalates risks and issues as necessary, and drives projects to completion.
4. Prepare presentation materials and documents meeting outcomes for multiple projects.
5. Conducts project discovery for assigned projects: gathering specifications, customer requirements, resources needed for successful project completion.
6. Researches and resolves barriers and creates and assigns tasks
7. Keeps management well informed of activities, needs, and problems. Especially regarding
work plans, timelines, and project barriers.
8. Serves as liaison for project stakeholders and project development team.
9. Adheres to appropriate UHS Project Management standards.
10. Conducts post-project analyses and creates recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
11. Travel is required on an as needed basis.
12. Perform other duties assigned.

Salary: Starting from $70,304.00 to $91,852.80 a year
