Project Manager - Geothermal

POSITION SUMMARY

Chesapeake Geosystems is looking for a hands-on Project Manager to support geothermal construction projects. This role focuses on coordinating field operations, tracking schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

DUTIES:

• Support the execution of commercial geothermal projects from preconstruction through project closeout
• Coordinate drilling operations, borefield installation, and underground utility construction activities
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Track project progress and communicate updates, risks, and schedule impacts to the Senior Project Manager
• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports
• Participate in pre-construction meetings, jobsite walkthroughs, and coordination calls
• Monitor compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project quality standards
• Support cost tracking, forecasting, and budget management throughout the project lifecycle

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience of progressive responsibility on similar construction projects
• Experience in commercial geothermal systems, drilling/loop installation, or site work (excavation and backfill) is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Procore, or similar)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel to project sites as required

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
