Project Manager II - HSCRF
Genomics and Multi-Omics Project Manager: The Health Sciences requires a project manager who will support an initiative to provide biotechnology related services to external partners and efficiently obtain such services from external vendors. The project manager will serve as a primary point of contact to coordinate genomics and multi-omics projects, serving as a navigator for investigators and external partners, and ensuring smooth operational execution. Set up meetings, maintain calendars, and facilitate communication among investigators, core directors, and external partners. Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring timelines and expectations are met. Assist with pricing, service quotes, and support for service agreements. Coordinate access to multi-omics platforms and genomics capabilities available through external vendors. Support intake, scoping, and documentation of new genomics projects. Maintain project records, data tracking sheets, and status summaries for leadership. Help streamline investigator engagement and improve the overall experience of partners. Requires approximately five to eight years of relevant laboratory or project coordination experience. Requires strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills including competence in data tracking, documentation, and workflow coordination.
Oversees all aspects of planning, design, and execution of multiple, small routine projects or a moderately complex project. Assists in developing timelines and ensures adherence to deadlines. Manages financial aspects of projects and other administrative duties. Handles external correspondence and drafts reports and other communications.
