Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial Interior Fit-Out

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the successful execution of commercial interior fit-out projects from inception to handover. This includes managing timelines, budgets, resources, subcontractors, vendors, and ensuring high-quality workmanship aligned with client expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Project Planning & Coordination

  • Study project scope, BOQ, drawings, and specifications thoroughly.
  • Prepare detailed project schedules, resource plans, and procurement timelines.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams for approvals and alignments.
  • Organize kickoff meetings and regular review meetings.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

  • Monitor day-to-day site activities, ensure progress as per schedule.
  • Supervise site engineers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure strict adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues proactively.

3. Vendor & Subcontractor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Validate work quality and adherence to contract terms.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Maintain project budgets and track expenses.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Prepare and submit cost reports and billing documentation.

5. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain all project-related documentation including drawings, approvals, site instructions, and client communications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.

6. Client Interaction

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Handle client concerns and change requests professionally.

7. Handover & Closure

  • Ensure snag-free completion and timely project handover.
  • Prepare handover documents, warranties, and close-out reports.
  • Obtain client sign-offs and completion certificates.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes (civil, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, finishing, etc.)
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOQs
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
  • PMP or similar project management certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in commercial interior fit-out projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
