Job Title: Project Manager - Interior Site
Salary bracket: 25,000 - 35,000 per month
Working days: Mon - Sat
Exp: - 3-5 years (Experience with stone work, POP, woodwork, false ceilings, and other finishing works is a plus. )
Job Location - Mayapuri, Delhi
Preference: Male candidates
Can travel anywhere in India.
Key Responsibilities:
● Project Planning and Scheduling:
○ Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, including timelines,
milestones, and resource allocation.
○ Ensure project schedules are aligned with the BOQ and adjust plans as
necessary to accommodate changes or delays.
● BOQ Management:
○ Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure accuracy and
completeness.
○ Collaborate with quantity surveyors and estimators to develop detailed BOQs
for project budgeting and cost estimation.
● Budget Management:
○ Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs align with the BOQ and financial
constraints.
○ Monitor expenditures and track financial performance against the BOQ to
avoid cost overruns.
● Resource Allocation:
○ Allocate resources effectively based on the BOQ and project requirements.
○ Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services as
specified in the BOQ.
● Quality Control:
○ Ensure that all work performed aligns with the specifications outlined in the
BOQ and project plans.
○ Implement quality assurance processes to meet or exceed industry
standards.
● Stakeholder Communication:
○ Serve as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and team
members regarding project progress and BOQ details.
○ Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including financial
performance and adherence to the BOQ.
● Contract Management:
○ Review and negotiate contracts to ensure they align with the BOQ and project
requirements.
○ Manage changes to contracts and BOQs, ensuring proper documentation and
approvals.
● Risk Management:
○ Identify potential risks related to the BOQ and overall project execution.
○ Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address potential issues
and minimize their impact.
● Documentation and Reporting:
○ Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including
BOQs, contracts, and change orders.
○ Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, budget status, and
any deviations from the BOQ.
● Compliance:
○ Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant industry standards,
regulations, and contractual obligations.
○ Stay informed about changes in regulations or standards that could affect the
BOQ or project execution.
● Problem Solving:
○ Address and resolve issues related to the BOQ, project scope, and resource
allocation promptly.
○ Implement corrective actions to address discrepancies or challenges
encountered during the project.
Skills and Qualifications:
● Educational Background:
○ Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil
Engineering, or a related field.
○ Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional)
are advantageous.
● Experience:
○ Proven experience in project management with a strong focus on BOQ
preparation and management.
○ Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with detailed cost and
quantity considerations.
● Technical Skills:
○ Proficiency in project management with GWS knowledge and BOQ-related
tools.
○ Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles, construction methods,
and cost control practices.
● Leadership Skills:
○ Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management abilities.
○ Ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
● Communication Skills:
○ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey
complex information clearly.
○ Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team
members.
● Analytical Skills:
○ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret BOQs and financial data.
○ Ability to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement based
on BOQ analysis.
