Project Manager, IT

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure projects align with organizational goals and follow established project management standards.

Responsibilities:

1.) Set and ensure project goals, milestones, implementation dates are achieved.

2.) Facilitate project planning meetings.

3.) Responsible for end-to-end project plan that includes all activities needed to achieve project goals.

4.) Identify critical path tasks and predecessor tasks required to successfully deliver the project.

5.) Secure partner team buy in and commitment to deliverables and timelines associated with assigned projects.

6.) Provide status reports and updates pertaining to assigned projects.

7.) Work with both internal and external teams to identify and address risks, issues, and roadblocks.

8.) Drive management of project backlog review and prioritization process.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience implementing technology solutions in large organizations.
  • 5+ years of Technology based project management experience leading medium to large enterprise programs.
  • Experience in Agile / Kanban process and familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience executing and coordinating integration, system, regression, and user-acceptance testing.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Preferred:

  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or SAFe)
  • Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments
  • Experience managing vendors and third-party partners
  • Familiarity with security concepts, including roles, domains, and business process security
  • Experience in managing ERP and Supply Chain (including but not limited to Finance, HR modules) along with ERP best practices and ERP Change Management
  • 3+ years of experience with service and/or retail technologies.
