Position Title: Project Manager – New Shop Projects (QnQ Own Franchise Model)
Department: Projects & Infrastructure Development
Location: Tamil Nadu (Statewide)
Reporting To: VP - FoCuS
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Objective:
To manage end-to-end rollout of QnQ’s own franchise outlets, ensuring timely completion, brand compliance, operational readiness, and successful store inauguration. The Project Manager will be the single point of accountability for all corporate-owned franchise projects — from site finalization to post-launch operations — coordinating internal teams, vendors, and project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Execution
Lead all phases of QnQ own franchise store projects, from site identification to store handover.
Create and track project timelines, budgets, and milestones for each store rollout.
Supervise civil works, interiors, electrical, fixtures, and branding installations.
Ensure adherence to QnQ’s retail standards, cost control, and safety regulations.
2. Site Evaluation & Approval
Conduct feasibility assessments for potential corporate-owned franchise locations.
Prepare layouts and floor plans as per QnQ brand guidelines.
Obtain internal approvals before initiating construction and setup.
3. Vendor & Material Management
Identify and manage contractors and vendors for interiors, fixtures, signage, and technical fit-outs.
Negotiate contracts, monitor timelines, and ensure quality standards.
Coordinate with Procurement and Finance teams for material supply and payments.
4. Internal Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the single point of contact for corporate teams including Marketing, Operations, and Retail.
Provide regular project updates and escalate risks or delays.
Ensure proper coordination for store opening, staff deployment, and stock readiness.
5. Inauguration & Launch
Plan and execute store inauguration events for QnQ own franchise projects.
Work with Marketing, Operations, and Corporate teams for smooth launch execution.
Ensure all branding, staff, and operational elements are ready for grand opening.
Prepare post-launch reports, including sales, footfall, and operational feedback.
6. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure statutory, safety, and licensing requirements are completed before store launch.
Maintain detailed project documentation including contracts, approvals, invoices, and completion reports.
Support any internal audits and quality checks for QnQ corporate-owned stores.
7. Reporting & Review
Submit weekly and monthly project dashboards to management.
Track costs, timelines, and performance against targets.
Provide post-launch analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Required Competencies
Strong project management and multi-site coordination skills.
Expertise in retail store design, construction, and operational setup.
Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional team management.
Proficiency in MS Project, ERP, AutoCAD (preferred).
Willingness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Project Management.
MBA / Diploma in Construction or Retail Project Management preferred.
8–12 years of experience in corporate-owned retail / healthcare store rollout.
Proven experience in end-to-end store execution and inauguration.
Compensation
As per industry standards (Fixed + Project Completion Incentives + Travel Allowance)
