Job Summary
Tawantech is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with PMP certification and solid banking industry experience to lead complex technology and digital transformation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget while ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements in the banking sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution-
Lead end-to-end project management activities from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Management-
Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business stakeholders, and banking clients.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.
Risk & Compliance Management-
Identify project risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure project activities comply with banking regulations, security standards, and internal governance policies.
- Manage issue resolution and escalation processes.
Team Leadership-
Lead cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and performance support to ensure team productivity.
- Foster collaboration and a high-performance project culture.
Budget & Resource Management-
Monitor project budgets and ensure optimal use of resources.
- Track project costs and provide financial reporting to senior management.
- Ensure proper resource planning and utilization.
Reporting & Documentation-
Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and progress updates to senior leadership.
- Maintain complete project documentation including project charters, schedules, risk logs, and closure reports.
RequirementsEducation-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
Experience- 8–10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Proven experience managing technology or digital transformation projects in banks.
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise or fintech solutions is highly preferred.
Technical & Professional Skills-
Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Hybrid).
- Experience with banking systems, fintech solutions, or financial platforms.
- Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks in banking.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Trello, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Skills-
Experience working with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, or payment systems.
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum frameworks.
- Experience managing multi-vendor or cross-country projects.
