Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall engagement with a robust governance system.
  • Lead the entire team and provide guidance to project & technical leads in the right direction.
  • Utilize technical expertise to secure more projects through ongoing and pilot initiatives.
  • Assist in evaluating the technical capabilities of team members in your department.
  • Comprehend customer requirements and onboard suitable talents to deliver projects as needed.
  • Accountable for team deliverables (On time delivery, quality & productivity).
  • Conduct weekly, monthly & quarterly meetings with customers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients.
  • Identify team capability gaps and implement improvement strategies.
  • Conduct RCA on customer escalations.
  • Maintain regular communication with direct reports. Hold regular team meetings to disseminate company and immediate organizational updates.
  • Foster an environment that promotes the development of talent.
  • Set a positive example for the rest of the team/organization.
  • Adhere to all compliances & Instill the right culture within the team.

Work Experience

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Majority of experience should be in a technical services role supporting operations/production organization.
  • Broad technical expertise in typical oil and gas process equipment Basic design and operation
  • Experience in handling medium to large projects
  • Experience with P&IDs, equipment data sheets, interpreting vendor manuals, PFD's, Cause & Effects diagrams &operation manuals.
  • Experience with MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Chemical Engineering ·
  • Minimum work experience (16 years) with in the Oil and Gas industry in upstream/ downstream or petrochemical operations.
  • Must have been leading large team of engineers in his/her current role.
