Project Manager - Residential

The project:

Mace is delivering a large-scale residential development in Dubai, forming part of the city’s continued urban growth. The programme involves the delivery of multiple assets across various construction stages, including units progressing into fit-out.

This is a fast-paced, complex environment requiring strong coordination across design, construction, and commercial teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role:

The Project Manager will report to the Senior Project Manager and be responsible for leading the delivery of multiple residential plots/assets throughout the construction lifecycle, including units progressing into fit-out stages.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of residential assets, ensuring alignment with programme, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
• Manage contractors and consultants through the construction and fit-out phases, ensuring works are progressing in line with approved plans.
• Support the Senior Project Manager in overseeing multiple project workstreams, maintaining clear reporting and governance.
• Drive programme performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain delivery milestones.
• Oversee the transition into and delivery of fit-out works, ensuring quality standards and sequencing are effectively managed.
• Review contractor submissions, method statements, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Facilitate coordination between construction, design, commercial, and logistics teams to ensure integrated delivery.
• Monitor site progress, conduct regular inspections, and ensure adherence to health & safety and quality standards.
• Support handover and closeout activities, ensuring a smooth transition to completion and client requirements are met.
• Contribute to value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll need to have:

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a PMC/consultancy environment, delivering residential or mixed-use developments.
• Strong experience in post-contract delivery, including exposure to fit-out stages of residential assets.
• Demonstrable experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary teams on site.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, finishing stages, and handover processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate within a structured programme environment.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to monitor progress against cost and programme.
• Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
