Project Manager – Software Automation

Job Purpose

The Project Manager – Software Automation is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering software automation projects, including workflow automation, robotic process automation (RPA), AI-driven automation, system integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed project plans and timelines.
• Establish project governance structures.

Project Execution

• Lead cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and automation specialists.
• Manage project activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to project plans.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as primary contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct project review meetings.
• Manage expectations and communications.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify project risks and dependencies.
• Develop mitigation plans.
• Escalate critical issues when required.

Budget & Resource Management

• Monitor project budgets and resource utilization.
• Control project costs.
• Ensure efficient resource allocation.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Support testing and user acceptance processes.
• Ensure compliance with technical and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience

• 5–8 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing software development and automation projects.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate preferred.
