Job Purpose
The Project Manager – Software Automation is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering software automation projects, including workflow automation, robotic process automation (RPA), AI-driven automation, system integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines.
- Establish project governance structures.
Project Execution
- Lead cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and automation specialists.
- Manage project activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to project plans.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as primary contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct project review meetings.
- Manage expectations and communications.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify project risks and dependencies.
- Develop mitigation plans.
- Escalate critical issues when required.
Budget & Resource Management
- Monitor project budgets and resource utilization.
- Control project costs.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Support testing and user acceptance processes.
- Ensure compliance with technical and business requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience
- 5–8 years of project management experience.
- Experience managing software development and automation projects.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate preferred.
