Role Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on
Project Manager (Wind)
to lead end-to-end execution of utility-scale wind power projects across India. This is a strategic role based out of Mumbai HO, with frequent travel to project sites during critical phases. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing multi-megawatt wind projects from concept to commissioning, including land acquisition coordination, EPC management, and site execution.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution

Lead the complete lifecycle of wind project execution – from DPR, engineering coordination, procurement follow-ups, and site mobilization to COD.

Develop detailed project execution plans and drive adherence to cost, time, and quality targets.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including land, engineering, procurement, logistics, and construction for smooth implementation.

Track project milestones, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
Site Coordination & Monitoring

Frequently travel to project locations to monitor construction progress, contractor performance, and quality.

Address on-ground challenges such as terrain issues, access roads, equipment movement, and local clearances.

Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards during execution.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management

Interface with turbine suppliers, EPC contractors, civil and electrical vendors for timely delivery and installation.

Ensure project deliverables from vendors and contractors are as per contract and technical specifications.

Resolve site-level conflicts and escalate bottlenecks in a structured manner.
MIS & Reporting

Track and report project KPIs including schedule, cost, manpower, and equipment utilization.

Prepare regular updates and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Support audit, compliance, and documentation as required.
Preferred Candidate Profile

Education: B Tech Fulltime Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil).

Experience: 18–22 years in project execution, with minimum 10+ years in Wind energy.

Strong track record of delivering wind projects (100+ MW) across multiple Indian states.

Proven leadership in managing multi-site teams, vendors, and cross-functional coordination.

Willing to travel extensively and spend time at sites as per project needs.

Knowledge of land acquisition processes and government approvals is a plus.
